Sad Goodbyes at our Farewell Party
What the Salamanca Academy did today: The last Cultural Exploration Class consisted of learning about popular Hispanic celebrations and visiting Salamanca’s Trade Museum. The group spent their last recess at the school sharing snacks with the Spanish Ambassadors and getting ready to say good-bye to the program.
In the afternoon, students had time to rest, pack or go to the city center for some last-minute shopping.
During our Farewell Celebration at the Alameda Palace Hotel we danced, ate tapas, watched a Flamenco Show and sang along to our favorite songs. It was an extremely emotional event, everybody shared their experience at the Salamanca Academy and thanked the teachers, mentors and staff. We hugged, cried and showed gratitude towards the people that have made this adventure possible.
