Cafe Provence and Fort Ticonderoga with the French Academy!

July 12, 2019

Language: French

Location: Saint Michael’s College

What the French Academy did today: Wow, what a busy day for the French Academy! Instead of going to regular classes today, the French students loaded onto buses and visited Cafe Provence for an authentic French cooking lesson. They chose between a quiche, poule (chicken), or beef bourguignon for lunch and savored delicious desserts afterward. Then, the Academy visited Fort Ticonderoga for a history lesson and tour around the 18th-century star fort that was built by the French. After returning to Saint Michael’s, the kids enjoyed dinner and participated in some relaxing evening activities. Tomorrow, they’ll attend a shared dance with the German Academy!
