Arabic Academy Fourth of July Recap
Location: Saint Michael’s College
What the Arabic Academy did today: We’re back to our regular schedule in the Arabic Academy after a jam-packed Fourth of July! Students had abbreviated class and CE times on Thursday morning. For lunch, the Academies held a patriotic BBQ on the Quad complete with burgers, chicken, veggie burgers, watermelon, and tons of dessert! After lunch, it was time to head over to the soccer fields for a fun pool party. Students had tons of fun with water guns and water balloons and played soccer, volleyball, and football.
After dinner in the cafeteria and call home time, the Academies loaded up 8 buses and caravanned to Essex Junction for fireworks! It was a relaxed language night, so students were allowed to speak English with each other. With a live band, bounce houses, maple cotton candy, pizza, ice cream, strawberry shortcakes (and of course a great fireworks display)students had a great time enjoying the holiday and each others company. Tonight, the Arabic Academy is having a movie night and a relaxing end to a busy week.
