星期三: Wednesday at the Chinese Academy
Location: Saint Michael’s College
What the Chinese Academy did today: Today, students took a crash course in introductory Chinese and refreshed on what they knew from classes back home. At lunch, the kids could be seen testing out new vocabulary over a yummy lunch of lasagna, garlic bread, and assorted vegetables. A few even imitated scenes from dubbed movies they watched with Wenqi during evening activity time yesterday!
After lunch, the students relaxed during free time and then participated in fun activities like Dou Di Zhou, karaoke, chalk art, and journaling. This evening, they’ll play classic board games in-language and bond over evening snack time. It’s awesome to see them all settle in, form connections, and communicate!
